Lake Constance Bike Marathon 2019
07 September 2019 marks the day again: the 46th Lake Constance Bike Marathon takes you around the entire lake on three different tracks. Further information on the event and on registration can be found here.
The Lake Constance Cycle Path
The Lake Constance Cycle Path is one of Europe's most favourite bike paths. The tour around the whole lake will take you through three countries: Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Being approximately 260km long, the tour can be conveniently split up into day trips, almost always letting you cycle along the lake. Detailed information is provided here.
Hegau's Castels & Peninsula Höri Loop
One of the Hegau's trademark are its castles and fortresses. Some you'll get to discover on this approximately 40 km long bike tour. The route offers you numerous beautiful views of the lake constance. You also get to enjoy the peninsula Höri and the medievel town Stein am Rhein. Detailled information and maps are provided here.
Rhinefalls - Stein am Rhein Loop
This approximately 66 km long tour starts at the State Horticultural Show ("Landesgartenschau") in Singen. Taking the Rhine-Bicycle Path ("Rheinradweg"), you reach Diessenhofen via the Rhinefalls in Schaffhausen. Diessenhofen is a charming small town at the Rhine with lots of medeival charme and flair. Travelling through the city Stein am Rhein, this tour ends at its starting point (State Horticultiral Show in Singen). Further information is given here.
This approximately 30 km long tour is an ambitious tour for experienced mountainbikers - some of the world's best mountainbikers rode that tour in the past. The track takes you Hilzingen where a beautiful baroque church invites you to take a short break for a visit. Detailed information is provided here.
Hergottstisch – Bohlinger Canyon Loop
This 40 km long tour starts in Singen. With a view of the Hohentwiel Volcanoe, you ride along the Aachweg and eventually reach the Herrentisch and the Bohlinger Canyon . This tour is recommended for advanced cyclists in good physical condition. Read more on the tour here.
Stein am Rhein Loop from Böhringen-Rickelshausen
The starting point in Böhringen-Rickelshausen is about 6.5 km from Singen. You can either add the distance to your bike tour or take public transportation. On this 80 km long tour you get to enjoy the beautiful medieval town Stein am Rhein as well as the breathtaking view of the Lake Constance and its panorama in Konstanz. Stein am Rhein Loop from Singen
This 45 kmlong track starting in Singen is an easy road ride thats suitable for any fitness level. On the trip, you pass through the charming medieval town Stein am Rhein in Switzerland. Passing a beautiful lido, you reach back to Singen via the yacht harbor in Moos. Great options for short stops are thus along the ride. You can read more on this tour here.
City garden Konstanz Loop from Singen
This 71 km long tour start at the horticultural show ("Landesgartenschau") in Singen. Riding via Radolfzell and Allensbach, you eventually reach Konstanz. On the cycle bridge you can enjoy a first glance of the old city center and the city garden ofers an amazing view of the lake and the alps. This tour requires good fitness. Lake Constance & Alps View - Randen Loop
The starting point in Gottmadingen is about 9 km from Singen. You can either add the distance to your bike tour or take public transportation. On this 68 km long trip you get to enjoy breathtaking views of the Alps as well as the Lake Constance. A tour around the Randen Mountain takes you back to the starting point.
